You can add travel protection to your reservation after you book. Here's when you can purchase each type.
Basic Travel Protection
You can purchase Basic Travel Protection after booking if:
Your check-in date is 30 or more days away: You can purchase it anytime before your trip.
Your check-in date is less than 30 days away: You have 5 days from the date you made your booking to add it.
Enhanced Travel Protection
Enhanced Travel Protection must be purchased within 14 days of your initial booking. After that window closes, you can only purchase Basic Travel Protection if you still qualify based on the timing above.
