What "pets allowed" means

If a listing says "pets allowed," pets may be welcome at the property.

Check the property details

Some properties have restrictions on pet size, breed, or type. Review the listing description and house rules to see if any limits apply. For example, a property might allow dogs under 50 pounds or only allow certain types of pets.

Look for pet fees

Many pet-friendly properties charge a pet fee or require an additional deposit. You'll see this information in the listing details, and it will be added to your total when you include your pet in the booking.

Add your pet to your booking

When you're selecting the number of guests, use the pet toggle/counter to add one or more pets. This lets the property manager know to expect your pet and ensures any pet fees are included in your total.

Follow the house rules

Pet-friendly properties often have specific rules, like keeping pets off furniture, using designated outdoor areas, or cleaning up after your pet. Check the house rules to know what's expected.

How many?

If you don't see information on in the property description about quanity and types of pets allowed, contact the host to see if they can accommodate your request. Most properties have limitations on how many pets you can bring and the kinds of pets allowed.
