What happens when you refresh your listing content

The Refresh all listing content button updates your Whimstay listings with changes from Airbnb without overriding customizations you've made directly in Whimstay.

What gets refreshed

When you click Refresh all listing content on your host dashboard, Whimstay updates these details from Airbnb:

  • Listing details and reviews

  • Room and bed configuration

  • Pet availability

  • Max guest count, bathrooms, bedrooms

  • Check-in and checkout times

  • Amenities and house rules

  • Images

  • Calendar availability

  • Property contact information

  • Pricing information (synced directly from Airbnb)

What doesn't get refreshed

These settings stay exactly how you set them in Whimstay:

  • Calendar changes you made in Whimstay, like blocked dates or custom pricing (so you don't have to worry about custom changes getting overwritten)

  • Edits you made directly in Whimstay, like check-in instructions

  • Your host profile, including name and photo

  • Whimstay discounts

  • Whimstay stay length settings

Anything you've customized directly in Whimstay won't be overridden by the refresh.

How often should you refresh?

You don't need to refresh often. Calendar availability syncs automatically every hour between Airbnb and Whimstay.

Use the refresh button only when you've made major changes on Airbnb, like:

  • Adding or removing photos

  • Changing your listing title or description

  • Updating amenities or house rules

This keeps your Whimstay listing fully in sync with your Airbnb listing.
