Most bookings confirm within seconds of completing them. For some properties, there may be a short confirmation period needed — in that case you'll get a "Booking submitted" email, and the full confirmation arrives once everything is confirmed.
If you're missing one of those emails, here's how to track it down.
If you got a "Booking submitted" email but not a confirmation
That means your booking is pending and we're confirming the details with the host. Pending bookings will be confirmed within 24 hours (usually much sooner). Once they do:
You'll get a full confirmation email
Your payment will be finalized
1. Check your spam or junk folder
This is the most common cause. Search "Whimstay" in your email to find the message.
2. Check the email address you used to book
Confirmations go to the email on your Whimstay account — the one you log in with. Log into your Whimstay account to confirm your email is spelled correctly.
3. Look at your bookings on Whimstay
Whether or not the email arrived, your booking appears in your bookings on whimstay.com. You'll see your booking and the current status — see What "Confirmed" status means for your booking for what to expect next.
4. Reach out to us
If your booking isn't in your account and no confirmation email has arrived, reach out to us at help.whimstay.com. We can verify the booking went through and resend the confirmation.
