Extending your stay

Want to add a night or two to your booking? We can help.

Extending a stay isn't something you can do directly from your account — your host needs to confirm the dates are available and quote the cost for the extra nights. We'll coordinate that with them on your behalf.

How it works

  1. Reach out as soon as you can. Message us with the dates you'd like to add — whether that's at the start of your stay or at the end. The earlier we know, the better. The longer those nights sit open on the calendar, the higher the chance another traveler books them first.

  2. We check availability. We look at the property's calendar to see if those nights are still open. If they are, we reach out to your host to confirm and get the cost for the extra nights.

  3. We'll confirm the cost with you. Once the host gets back to us with a price, we'll share it with you and ask for your go-ahead before processing anything.

  4. We process the charge and update your booking. Once you confirm, we charge the payment method on file for the additional nights, update your reservation with the new dates, and confirm the change with your host.

Things to know

  • Availability isn't guaranteed. If the host already has another booking on those nights, the booking can't be extended. We'll let you know either way.

  • If you paid with Affirm or Klarna, the charge for the extension is handled separately — we'll send you a payment link to cover the additional nights.

  • Already on your stay? The process is the same. Just message us as soon as you can — the earlier we hear from you, the more likely the dates are still available.
